Run Timer collects no personal data and has no user accounts. All workout history and settings are stored locally on your device only.
If you enable Distance Mode, the app uses your device GPS to measure distance during a run interval. Location data is processed on-device in real time and is never transmitted to any server.
The free version of the app shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers to serve contextually relevant ads in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can remove ads entirely with a one-time in-app purchase.
The app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to help us understand how the app is used and to fix crashes. These services collect anonymised usage data such as screen views and crash reports. No personally identifiable information is sent.
Purchases are handled entirely by the Google Play Store. Run Timer does not process or store any payment information.
All data (workout history, settings) lives on your device. Uninstalling the app removes it entirely. We have no server-side copy.
Run Timer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
